Kappa Delta Chi Inc. was found at Texas Tech University in 1987. We are a non-traditional, service and academic based organization centered on the values of Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership. Our sisters come from diverse backgrounds and together we strive to serve our community and alleviating needs and issues.
With the dedication of eight young women, Kappa Delta Chi was recognized as the first Latina-based sorority at the University of Utah campus on April 6th of 2011. Since that day, our sisterhood has flourished into lifelong friendships, professional development and community engagement.
We value and appreciate the qualities that our sisters bring to Kappa Delta Chi. Through Kappa Delta Chi, sisters not only gain a support system, but a network community of professional leaders. We highly encourage involvement not only within our chapter but also outside our organization. Our sisters have participated in local and national internships with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Goldman Sac’s and City Year. They have also had international service opportunities in Europe, Central America and Asia. Our sisters can also be found across campus involved with MEChA, the Bennion Center, Beacon Scholars Program, Hinkley Institute of Politics, ASUU, Sarcasm’s Finest, and many more organizations.
