The University of Utah Fraternity and Sorority Community consists of 17 chapters. Each of those individual chapters is a member of one of three governing councils – the Interfraternity Council, the Multicultural Greek Council, and the Panhellenic Association. All councils promote scholarship, leadership, friendship and a commitment to community service and philanthropic work.
Chapter officers representing their organizations elect leaders for the community to serve as executive officers on each of the four governing councils. These officers serve one year terms, and are responsible for policy creation and implementation as well as community-wide events and programs. The executive board officers work closely with the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life in achieving their goals and fulfilling their responsibilities.
